ULAN Partners with Romblon Diocesan Social Action Network (RDSAC) to Create Safe Haven Spaces for Youth Affected by Sexual and Gender-based Violence

Upholding Life And Nature (ULAN) officially launched the “Supporting Romblon Youth Against Sexual and Gender-based Violence Project” through a series of meetings held on July 28 to 30, at the B Hotel, Quezon City, with the Romblon Diocesan Social Action Network (RDSAC).

This initiative aims to improve access to socio-legal support for youth survivors of sexual and gender-based violence in Romblon through legal assistance, temporary shelter, counseling, and strengthened referral pathways. It also seeks to build the capacity of Immediate Emergency Responders (IERs) and raise community awareness to ensure more effective prevention, response, and protection mechanisms for affected youth.
